I’ve been teasing you for a while related to what’s going on with the 2-LP set.

NOW, IT CAN BE TOLD!

“End of the Night (1976-1983)” has been selected as a Record Store Day UK 2020 release.

This exciting news has been in the works for a while.

Back the end of 2019, I approached Light in the Attic to handle the distribution. Luckily, I arrived at the right time as the lists were being made to select releases for Record Store Day 2020.

The Finished Record

If you’re not hip to what that is, Record Store Day is a program that’s been going on for about a decade now to get people to visit mom & pop record stores with the draw of really cool releases that can only be bought in the store on that day.

Light in the Attic put the “End of the Night (1976-1983)” in for the US and UK editions. The UK day accepted us and we were off to the races. The album will be available in stores, in limited quantities, on April 18th, 2020 in the UK.

I’m excited about this for several reasons:

1.) I have family in the UK

2.) Who loves Detroit music more than the folks in England, Scotland and Wales?

If you don’t live in the UK, there will be opportunities for you to get yourself a copy including the record release show at the Magic Bag on April 24th.
